Model A Times Summer Tour 2012, will leave from the Reno/Sparks, NV area on June 8th 2012. We will be traveling through Yellowstone National Park. We have blocked rooms at the Old Faithful Lodge for two nights to give adequate time to visit the park in your Model A. We will continue East visiting Mt Rushmore on our trek to the Superior A's/MAFCA national convention.
We will have a trouble truck to pick up anyone having problems and our normal format of touring will be the same. You will leave when you feel like it each morning. Travel in small groups and stop for lunch when and where you choose. Each evening we will have a meeting in the parking lot of the motel to swap lies and tall tales about the days events.
After the meet we plan on traveling to the MAFFI museum if it is completed, or the Henry Ford Museum and will spend two nights in the area so there is adequate time to visit a museum.
The total travel time is 10 nights each way with five nights at the meet. If you plan on joining us we will need the reservation deposit for the Old Faithful Inn by June 2011. This is due to the requirements of the hotel. We will provide the hotel list after receiving your completed application for the tour.
